Description
A 10" felt Lenci boy doll with pressed and painted facial features, brown side glancing eyes, a closed mouth, and a blonde mohair wig. He is jointed at the shoulders and hips and is a Lenci model 70/17 from the 1933 catalog. He is wearing the original costume of the Italian Fascist Youth group, including a black felt jacket with felt-covered buttons and Italian sleeve insignia, a black felt cap with tassel and rare pin, grey shorts, grey knit wool leggings, and black laced shoes. It measures approximately 10" H. Very good condition with good face paint, but there are some tiny moth holes throughout. Arm and leg joints are good. The head does not swivel.
