Description
An early Kestner antique bisque head doll marked 15 with a beautiful blonde mohair wig with a pate. She has brown sleepy eyes with all eyelid paint intact, upper and lower painted lashes and feathered brows, and a closed mouth. Her bisque face is beautiful with rosy blush colored cheeks. She is on a composition jointed body with straight wrists and is wearing undergarments and an antique white cotton dress with black mesh socks. She also has antique brown leather shoes with rosettes and the number 5 on the leather bottom, along with floral accents in her hair. It measures approximately 25" H x 13" Cir. Very good condition with no damage, cracks, or repairs to the head, sleepy eyes that work well, and a composition jointed body in very good condition. Stringing is good, and she is beautifully dressed in an antique dress and shoes.
