Description
A lovely German bisque head doll marked 550 Germany Simon and Halbig with a blonde mohair wig and a pate. She has brown sleepy eyes with all eyelid paint intact, upper and lower painted lashes with feathered brows, an open mouth with top teeth, and rosy blush coloring on her cheeks. She is on a composition jointed body and is wearing antique white undergarments and a white cotton dress with a bonnet, socks, and antique white leather shoes with buckle accents. It measures approximately 22" H x 11" Cir. The head is in very good condition with no damage, cracks, or repairs, and the sleepy eyes work well. The composition body is in very good condition with original finish, but needs restringing as the head is loose.
