Description
An antique French bisque poupee doll with a bisque swivel head on a bisque shoulder plate, with the back of the head and left shoulder plate both marked O. She has beautiful blue inset glass eyes, painted lashes, multi-stroked brows, a closed mouth with accented lips, and a blonde mohair wig with cork pate. Pierced ears with turquoise and gold-tone hanging earrings and a matching turquoise necklace. She is on a gusset-jointed kid fashion body with separately stitched fingers and straight legs. She is wearing an antique white cotton dress with lace hem and neckline, along with a royal blue and black corset with a timepiece pin, a matching black bonnet with a feather, and she is holding a black fan. On her feet are antique red leather shoes with a bow. It measures approximately 12" H. Bisque head and shoulder plate are in good condition with no damage, cracks, or repairs, but the top left eyelashes have a small paint rub to the inner lashes. The body is in very good condition.
