Description
A fabulous French Jumeau fashion lady doll marked I on the back of her head. She has a bisque shoulder plate with swivel neck, a blonde human hair wig in its original setting, and light blue glass inset eyes. Upper and lower painted lashes with thin feathered brows, accented corners of eyes and nostrils, and a closed mouth with delicately painted lips. Pierced ears with white bead drop earrings and a matching necklace. She is on an antique leather body with individually stitched fingers and is wearing layers of antique white undergarments and her original cream colored silk two-piece dress. She is holding an antique brown umbrella with a white handle and is wearing a nicely made handmade hat. It measures approximately 14" H. Bisque head and shoulder plate are in very good condition with no damage, cracks, or repairs, and pierced ears have no chips. Leather body is in very good condition and fingers are in good condition. She has socks with black shoes sewn into them covering her leather feet, and the leather feet feel intact underneath. The dress is original, very pretty, and delicate.
