Vintage Western Electric candlestick telephone mounted on an adjustable scissor arm, commonly used in railroad offices or dispatch centers in the early 20th century. Deskstand intercom type featuring a transmitter mouthpiece, telescoping scissor arm for positioning, and a separate headset for listening. Constructed of brass, Bakelite, cast iron, and steel components.
