Description
Six signs associated with London, England. There are Garnier Gifts souvenir single-sided porcelain signs—Victoria, Hyde Park Corner, and Piccadilly Circus—made in the same factory and from the same materials as those produced for the London Transport Executive; all are clean and each measures 5" W x 3.75" H. A 1930s porcelain Thames Conservancy Boat Register tag for a private pleasure vessel shows age and wear consistent with use near water and measures 4.25" W x 3.25" H. Also included is a triangular London Transport radiator grille plate with minimal imperfections in the field and a clean perimeter, measuring 6 1/8" W x 5 3/16" H. The final piece is an "80 KM" sign; the field shows flea bites and scuffs, and the perimeter shows chipping along the edges. It measures 8 1/8" D.
