Description
This charming piece is a finely decorated metal and brass Swiss singing bird in a cage painted with gilt and blue accents. It houses a bird with hand-applied feathers perched on a brass bar decorated with leaves and vines. When wound, the bird’s head flits side to side, it waves its tail feathers, and opens and closes its beak while chirping a lovely song. It measures approximately 12" H. Very fine
