Description
A beautifully detailed, near new boxed Palmer Cox "Brownie" plush toy by R. John Wright titled "The Policeman." The toy is jointed at the neck and shoulders and features hand-painted facial details and a mohair wig. He is dressed in an all-felt costume with authentic custom-cast brass insignia and a hat finial, and wears hand-cobbled leather shoes with felt spats. He holds a wooden billy club in one hand and includes the original paperwork and box. The original tag is present and marked "The Policeman No. 42/250," along with the RJW button. He measures approximately 9" H.
