German toy airplane by Saalheimer & Strauss of Germany. This highly unusual model was formerly owned by Tom Sage Sr. and is only the second time we have seen this toy. The fuselage features a simulated wood grain. The windup rolls the wheels and turns the propeller; it works well. The driver is located under the wing. Toy not by TippCo as previously stated. An extremely rare find. Wingspan approximately 6.5".
