Lot 308:
Larger Carette gunboat with front and rear guns to complement a deck gun. The toy features early glossy red hull paint and gold hand-painted highlights. The windup and steering wheel work well. While there is some flaking to the hull, the toy is in overall very good condition. A partial rubber stamp mark may indicate a "Made in Germany" origin. It has the early ram’s prow hull design, with the front mast reattached and a replacement flag. This ship is new to the market from an original American family. The hull measures approximately 14 inches.
