Shepard Hardware Co. cast iron Trick Pony mechanical bank. It works by placing a coin in the pony’s mouth and pulling the lever, causing the pony to deposit the coin into the trough. American (Buffalo, NY, USA). July 7, 1885 patent. Measures approximately 8" L x 2 1/2" W x 7 3/4" H.
