Patented 1881 horse and dump truck set. Carpenter did an outstanding design job on this toy, with a removable horse for play, which can be put back and made to gallop. The pull toy has a wheel and cam system that lifts and lowers the horse’s back leg. The horse is free of cracks and breaks. The dump lever and cam are wrapped in wire. The cam works well, making the horse gallop. No driver; earlier hook-on rider design. The toy is over 12" long.
