Schutz-Marke Symphonion music box, German, late 19th century, serial #264209. Originally crank-operated but later modified for electric use. Features a double-comb mechanism, brass rolling arm, and walnut case with an inset lithograph of musical putti under glass. Includes one 13 5/8" music disc marked for No. 30 discs only. Mechanism bears Schutz-Marke impression and serial number. Approximately 20.25" W x 16.5" D x 9.5" H. In working order with some oxidation and bending on the disc, but still playable.
