Description
This is J. & E. Stevens cast iron No. 329 Kicking Mule mechanical “’Spise A Mule” bank is marked on the top of the base with “Always Did ‘Spise A Mule.” When the mule and boy are positioned, a slight touch on the knob at the base causes the mule to turn and kick the boy over, throwing the coin from the bench into the receptacle below. The bank has been tested and works, with the original trap present. This original toy shows no cracks or breaks and is in good used condition with the cane. It measures approximately 10" L by 6.5" H.
