Description
This is a Shepard Hardware Co. cast iron Trick Pony mechanical bank. It works by placing a coin in the pony’s mouth and pulling the lever, causing the pony to deposit the coin into the trough. American (Buffalo, NY, USA). July 7, 1885 patent. It has all original paint. The trap is missing and has a piece of tin holding the coins in. It measures approximately 8" L x 2.25" W x 7.75" H.
