Description
This is a lot of 7 tin lithographed bird-themed toys. Included is a boxed battery-operated Marx Brewster the Rooster; one foot has been repaired, but he is in fully working order. There is also a tin lithographed push/pull chicken with flapping wings and a clucking sound, manufactured in Great Britain. This chicken originally had a stick at the back of the platform to push it along the ground, causing it to flap its wings and cluck. The push stick is missing, but it still clucks and flaps its wings. It is approximately 5.0" L x 5.5" W x 7.5" H. Also included are a tested and working Kohler windup hopping and chirping bird made in Germany, a working friction duck made by Daiya Japan, a working Japanese windup peacock with a fascinating movement where the tail fans out and moves up and down as he walks (his rubber feet are dry rotted but intact), and a working Japanese tin lithographed windup quack and flap duck.
