David Woodward Estate Tin Toy Collection
Lot 119:
Description
Unusual water mill toy circa 1900, likely from the Zschopau region, possibly Primus Wunderlich. The toy works with buckets dipping and then dumping to propel the lady for water pumping action. The man uses the water to turn a mill, which then "cuts" on the circular saw. The lady has been reattached at the base. This toy is in good to fair condition. An incredibly intricate early 20th-century German toy, admired for its complexity and hand-made detailing.
Condition: GOOD
