Description
This is a Marx tin litho windup Sheriff Sam and His Whoopee Car. What an odd toy, yet a nice combination of boy toy themes: cowboys, Jeeps, windups, and fast action. The head is tin and topped with a Stetson-style hat. The wheels are tin, and the Jeep has a plastic upper with a tin bottom. The windup comes with the fragile bull horns intact on a textured (almost stitching-style) Jeep hood. This late working Marx “Crazy Car” toy winds up then jerks forward and back in a random turning action. It has been tested and works and measures approximately 5.5" L.
