Description
This is a vintage 1968 IMAI 1/18 Scale Corvette Stingray R/C Prototype in its original box. It was made exclusively for Associated Hobby Manufacturers Inc. of Philadelphia, PA, by IMAI Japan. The car has been fully tested and works. It is an extremely rare vintage car in excellent clean cosmetic condition and comes with all parts, antennas, controls, and instructions. For Corvette collectors, this is a real find and also a cool example of an early remote control model. It operates with simple controls: push the transmitter for a right turn, push again for forward, push again for a left turn, and push once more to stop. The car requires batteries, and the battery compartment is clean and free of corrosion.
