Description
This is the earliest Marx Tractor produced in 1926. This lightweight wind-up tin tractor pulls a cart, a disc harrow, and a plow. The box has been restored and relined to strengthen the original cardboard, and parts have been replaced. The spring holds the wind and then releases. Lithography shows fading and some corrosion but is still an excellent example of this early Marx toy. It measures approximately 26" L. Provenance: This toy won 1st Prize at the Kansas State Fair in 2017 and was displayed at The National Museum of Toys & Miniatures in Kansas City, MO.
