Description
A beautiful antique French smiling Bru doll with a pale bisque face and rosy blush coloring on cheeks. She has a blonde human hair wig with original cork pate and a bisque swivel head on shoulder plate, marked with the letter F on the back of her head. She has stunning glass-inset blue eyes with black eyeliner, upper and lower painted lashes, thin, feathered brows, and a closed mouth with sides upturned as if she is smiling. Pierced ears with hanging earrings. She is on a leather body with a slim waist and lower bisque arms and hands, and she is wearing a gorgeous antique handmade light green two-piece silk outfit with a long sleeve jacket featuring seven enamel floral buttons down the front, lace edging on neckline and sleeves, and a full matching skirt tucked up and longer in the back, along with a matching hat, antique white undergarments, socks, and shoes. It measures approximately 16" H. The head has a hairline crack in the back that has been previously reinforced, but there are no chips to the ears. The body is in good condition, and the bisque hands are in good condition.
