Description
A gorgeous antique French Jumeau doll marked 7 with a bisque swivel head on a bisque shoulder plate and blonde human hair with original cork pate. She has pretty brown inset eyes with upper and lower painted lashes and feathered brows, black eyeliner accents, a closed mouth, accented nostrils, and pierced ears. The right earlobe is cut, and one earring hole is chipped, with the earring missing. She is on an antique leather gusseted body with individually stitched fingers and is wearing a lovely antique handmade costume with antique white undergarments, a long gold skirt with green trim, and a matching long sleeve jacket with blue, purple, gold, and green stripes. She has antique red French leather boots marked JJ on the bottom. It measures approximately 19" H. The bisque head and shoulder plate have no cracks, and the leather body is in good condition with some wear, but the left lower arm has a patch. Very nicely dressed.
