Description
A beautiful and large antique French bisque swivel head and shoulder plate doll with the back of the head marked 6, and the left side of the shoulder plate marked FG. She has a long blonde human hair wig with her original cork pate still attached, almond-shaped pale blue paperweight inset eyes, upper and lower painted lashes with feathered brows, accented nostrils and corners of eyes, rosy blush coloring on cheeks, a closed mouth, and pierced ears with a red bead and green stone hanging earring. She is on an antique leather gusseted body with individually stitched fingers and toes and is wearing a wonderful three-piece outfit including an antique white cotton blouse, a handmade black long skirt, and a matching long sleeve jacket with flower designs and tassel edging, along with antique white undergarments and black socks. It measures approximately 23" H. Bisque head and chest plate are in very good condition with no damage, cracks, or repairs, pierced ears have no damage, and the leather body is in very good condition. Very nice handmade costume.
