Marz Bebes, Barbies & Bisque Doll Spectacular
Lot 148:
Description
A topsy-turvy doll designed with bisque heads at each end of the torso so the skirt of each doll can cover the head of the alternate doll and be reversed. The character face bisque heads include a blue stamped number 63 on the back of one head and a marking of number 2 on the neck. Each doll has long brown braided hair, blue intaglio eyes, and closed mouths, and it feels like shoulder plates underneath the sewn-on clothing with a cloth body joining each. Celluloid lower arms. Both are wearing handmade clothing, including white blouses with brown velvet vests and black skirts. It measures approximately 11" L, with the top of head to bottom of chin measuring approximately 3" and head circumference approximately 7.5". Heads are in very good condition with no cracks or repairs, and the handmade clothing is very nice, but one lower arm is broken off. The broken piece will be shipped with the doll for repair.
