Description
A wonderful antique Gebruder Heubach character doll with the head marked 5 and mold number 6896, Germany. He has molded and painted blonde hair, blue intaglio-painted eyes, a closed mouth, and nice, rosy blush coloring on his cheeks. He is on a good antique jointed body and is dressed in a two-piece sailor-type outfit with socks and shoes. It measures approximately 17" H x 9.5" Cir. Very good condition with no damage, cracks, or repairs to the bisque head, and a composition jointed body in good condition with minor wear. Stringing is good.
