Description
Made by Kestner, this antique German bisque head doll is marked Made in Germany 171. She has sleepy brown eyes with all eyelid paint intact, lower painted lashes, feathered brows, and eyelashes with some missing. She has an open mouth with teeth, a dimpled chin, and long brown hair in ringlet curls with bangs. She is on an antique composition jointed body marked Germany 5 1/3 in a red stamp and is wearing white cotton undergarments and a long white dress with a pretty antique bonnet, along with socks and antique white leather shoes. It measures approximately 28" H x 14" Cir. Good condition with no cracks, damage, or repairs to the head, but there is discoloration in the blush on the right cheek and a rub on the tip of the nose. The body is in very good condition, and the stringing is good.
