Description
An antique wooden carved jointed doll by Schoenhut, previously tagged as a #1718 with head 108w on walker body. She has a light brown mohair wig with bangs, blue painted eyes, and a closed mouth, and is wearing a nice handmade sailor-style outfit with socks and shoes. The doll has a walker body, and when held down lightly and moved forward, one leg walks in front of the other. The head has a green label with the Harry Edison Schoenhut doll mark H.E. Schoenhut copyright label, and the body has a green label marked Schoenhut Doll, Pat. Jan. 17th, 1911 U.S.A. It measures approximately 17" H. Good condition with face professionally repainted nicely, body in good condition, and joints that are good and hold a pose.
