Description
A beautiful antique German bisque head doll with a head marked Made in Germany 143. She is an early Kestner character doll with a sweet face and a long brown human hair wig. Big blue sleepy eyes with painted upper and lower lashes and feathered brows, an open mouth with two top teeth, and a dimpled chin. She is on a marked German antique composition jointed body and is wearing white undergarments and a pretty handmade blue dress with a collar, along with brown socks and shoes, and a crochet bonnet. It measures approximately 23" H x 12.5" Cir. Very good condition with no cracks or repairs to the head, sleepy eyes that work well, and a body in very good condition with original finish. Marked German body and strung well.
