Description
An early Kestner 143 antique German bisque head doll with the head only marked Made in Germany G 11 and no mold number. She has a long brown human hair wig, sleepy brown eyes with all eyelid paint intact, upper and lower painted lashes, feathered brows, and an open mouth with two top porcelain teeth and a dimpled chin. Rosy blush coloring on the face. She is on a good antique composition jointed body and is wearing a handmade sailor outfit with a matching hat, socks, and shoes. It measures approximately 18.5" H x 10" Cir. Very good condition with no damage, cracks, or repairs to the head, a bisque face in very good condition with no rubs, and a composition body in good condition with good stringing.
