Description
A vintage penny scale marquee plaque commonly featured on early 20th century coin-operated scales made by companies such as Watling Manufacturing Co. The decorative plaque reads "NO SPRINGS, " advertising the use of a weighing mechanism other than springs. The field shows a small chip in the upper right and some spots of discoloration from dirt; otherwise, wear is minimal. The perimeter shows chipping and rust discoloration along the edges. It measures approximately 12.75" L x 4.75" H.
