Description
1920s single-sided tin lithograph advertising sign for The Pinkerton Tobacco Co., Owensboro, KY, promoting Sunshine Cigarettes. It features a slightly embossed depiction of a pack of Sunshine cigarettes against a vibrant orange background and prominently displays the text "TWENTY SUNSHINE CIGARETTES FOR 15 cents." Marked "Sterling Litho, Toledo, Ohio." It retains good color and gloss and has four mounting holes. There are slight bends at the middle of the left, right, and top edges. The field shows scuffs and chipping above the "For 15 cents" area, and the perimeter shows light chips and unfolded bends at the corners. It measures 14" W x 17.75" H.
