Description
This is an early porcelain advertising strip sign for Star Mfg. Co.’s "Spicy Steamro Red Hots" hot dogs, marked Star Mfg. Co. Inc., St. Louis, MO, U.S.A. It retains a lovely gloss and all four grommets, with scattered scratches to the field along with what appears to be some schmutz on the "S" in Steamro, while the perimeter shows similar wear, and the edges show little to no chipping. This is a nice heavy porcelain sign that measures approximately 17 3/8" L x 2.2" H.
