Description
A great Purdue University Creamery vintage single-sided porcelain advertising sign by SmithCo Sign Works, featuring a navy blue, golden yellow, and cream-colored porcelain enamel design with a golden yellow pendant flag in the center. The sign advertises "Sweet Cream Purdue University Creamery, " "Creamery Butter, " and "Purdue University Creamery, West Lafayette, Indiana Sold Here, " and is marked "SmithCo Sign Works" at the lower right. It retains a nice gloss and has four pre-drilled corner holes with no grommets, showing only minimal chipping from age and use. The field has minimal scratches, chips, and flea bites, while the perimeter shows additional chipping and wear along the edges. It measures approximately 15" L x 10 3/8" H.
