Description
A collection of vintage figural cast iron ashtrays produced in the early-to-mid 20th century, likely by makers such as National Foundry Co. or John Wright. Each features a hand-painted thematic figure mounted on a base designed to hold cigars or cigarettes. Included is a "Brooklyn New York National Foundry Co Inc" ashtray measuring approximately 6" L x 5" W x 4" H, an Austrian bobblehead ashtray measuring approximately 4" L x 4" W x 5" H, a cast iron woman ashtray measuring approximately 4" L x 5" W x 4" H, and a Black American bobblehead ashtray marked "Made In Occupied Japan" and "No 95214." All show age consistent with use.
