Description
A wonderful lot of three vintage single-sided porcelain advertising signs. The first is a 1930s-1940s Sweet Heart Products heart-shaped porcelain sign listing the different types of flour offered. It retains a nice gloss and all of its grommets, with chipping to the paint around the top grommet. The field has minimal scratches and only slight discoloration to the white from age, while the perimeter shows factory-thinned paint areas and light edge wear. The second is another 1930s-1940s Sweet Heart Products heart in a darker color, also in excellent shape, with minimal scratching to the field and perimeter, and little to no edge wear. They both measure approximately 5" W x 5" H. The third in this charming flour set is a single-sided porcelain "Fresh Cook Book Cakes" sign. It retains nice gloss and has grommets on both sides for hanging. The field is clean, and the perimeter is also clean with the exception of a large chip and rust around the right-hand grommet. It measures approximately 16" L x 2.5" H.
