Super Sign and Advertising Auction
What a great three-color porcelain advertising piece. This is a 1950s Dreikorn’s Orange Wrap Bread porcelain door pull by Scioto Sign, Kenton, Ohio. It features the text "PULL, " "Dreikorn’s Orange Wrap BREAD, " "ALWAYS FRESH, " and "TAKE SOME HOME TODAY, " and is marked Scioto Sign, Kenton, Ohio along the bottom. It retains a nice gloss and has two pre-drilled mounting holes. The field is clean with minimal scratches, however the perimeter shows rust staining seeping through at the bend in the metal, which is also where some paint chipping is present. The edges have a few small flea bites at the top right area. It measures approximately 3" W x 6" H.
