German papier-mache or composition "roly-poly" toy depicting a jockey figure on horseback. It features a weighted base designed to make the toy wobble or rock back and forth without tipping over. This example shows touch-up to a crack on the side of the base. It measures approximately 5" D x 9" H. What a fun and unusual equestrian toy!
