Description
Lot of four WWII theater knives with antler handles and leather sheaths. One example has a 5.75" blade and measures 10.5" overall, with decorative hunting scenes etched on both sides and marked "A Aragon e Hijos, J.P. Garcia No.15 Oaxaca Me" on one side and "En mi hoja ves el brillo y en mi temple Lo mejor" on the other; it includes a hand tooled leather sheath. A second knife has a 4" blade and 8.5" overall length, with ornate design etched on the crossguard and a leather sheath. A third double-edge knife has a 6.125" blade and measures 10.75" overall, with a brass crossguard marked "Noumea New Caledonia, " and includes a leather sheath. The fourth example is a double-edge knife with an 8" blade and 12.75" overall length, also fitted with an antler handle and leather sheath.
