Description
An interesting grouping of five WWII theater knives showcasing brass, aluminum, leather, and acrylic handle construction. One knife has an aluminum handle with dark brown, red, and white striping, a 5.5" blade, and measures 11" overall, with a snap-on leather sheath that is broken. Another features a brass handle with copper and multicolored acrylic striping, a 6.75" blade, and measures 11" overall, with a leather sheath. A third has an aluminum handle with light and dark brown acrylic striping, a 6.5" blade, and measures 10.5" overall, with a leather sheath. One knife has an aluminum handle wrapped with leather, a 5" blade, and measures 9.25" overall, with the initials LDE on the handle and a carved leather sheath reading "MADE BY L.D.E. 2/11/1944." The fifth knife has an aluminum handle with black and brown acrylic striping, a 5.5" blade, and measures 10" overall, with a hand-tooled leather sheath depicting a horse.
