Description
A striking group of three WWII theater knives associated with Mexico, featuring aluminum, bone, and acrylic handle construction with carved pommels and detailed blade engravings. One knife has an aluminum and bone handle, a 9" blade, and measures 13" overall, with one side of the blade engraved "MEXICO" and the other with a nature scene, with a leather sheath. Another has an aluminum handle with black acrylic and an eagle carved on the pommel, a 7.5" blade, and measures 12" overall, with both sides of the blade engraved with a sword scene, with a hand-tooled leather sheath. The third knife has an aluminum handle with acrylic and a carved horse head pommel, an 8.75" blade, and measures 13.75" overall, with one side engraved "como amigo soy tu amigo como cabean tu padre" and the other "Recuerdo de oakaca, " with a hand-tooled leather sheath.
