Description
An early pre-WWI Imperial German officer’s flask featuring a hidden sweetheart photograph. One side displays scenes of soldiers at war, while a small hinged window opens to reveal an actual photograph of the soldier’s sweetheart. The reverse shows an image of the soldier along with his name. The top cover features a soldier grappling a ram by the horns. The metal rim at the top is starting to separate. The original rope cord is present but worn and faded. It measures approximately 8.5" H.
