The Premier Firearms & Militaria Auction
A fantastic 1903-1906 pre-WWI German mounted soldier flask with an equestrian theme and named example. The hand-painted decoration shows the soldier departing home, saying farewell to his sweetheart while on horseback, with another soldier nearby. The reverse features additional equestrian imagery along with his years of service. The lid is missing the eagle finial, and the original rope cord is faded with some wear. It measures approximately 6.5" H.
