Description
Pair of Belgian external hammer side-by-side pistols, one chambered in .320 C and the other in .380 C (centerfire). The barrels measure approximately 5.3" and 4.5". The bores are coated in cosmoline; however, inspection of one barrel shows visible rifling in good condition beneath the preservative. Both are marked with a star over E (Auguste Jamart, 1925–1959) and bear a Belgian perron (candle base) provisional proof. The pistols feature checkered grips with nail head and crosshatch decoration, all in very good condition. The .320 example is marked “7” and “M” under the grip, with a partial straight-line marking on the trigger guard. The .380 example is marked “15” on the grip and trigger guard.
