Description
Antique Manhattan Fire Arms Mfg. Co. brass .36 caliber bullet mold, the mold features a scissor-type design with handles that open and close to release the bullet and includes a sprue cutter for trimming excess lead, it is marked "MANHATTAN FIRE ARMS MANUFG CO NY", bullet molds of this type were used from the 18th century through the Civil War era for casting ammunition in the field, it measures approximately 4.75" in length, condition shows age and use with wear, see photos for details.
