Merwin Hulbert large frame single action revolver chambered in .44-40 (Winchester 1873). The frame is marked “Calibre Winchester 1873.” The hammer does not hold in the cocked position, and the cylinder indexes intermittently. The revolver retains thick oil residue, and cleaning may improve function. Marked “576” on the end for cylinder removal; removal is finicky due to residue. The loading gate operates properly. Features a 6-round cylinder and pearl grips. Possible refinish present.
