An Oster’s "Stim-U-Lax" massager store advertising display, hand-made of a heavy plastic-like material. Oster’s "Stim-U-Lax" massager was primarily used by barbers and stylists as a professional handheld electric device combining hand and mechanical massage techniques for relaxation and stress relief. Oster began selling these massagers during the 1940s and 1950s, and they remain available today, including a home version known as the "Stim-U-Lax Junior." This display hand would have originally been used in stores to showcase Oster’s "Stim-U-Lax" hand massager. It measures approximately 9" L x 4.25" W x 7" H. (The vintage advertisement shown in the photographs is for reference only and is not included in this lot. It is pictured solely to illustrate how this advertising display hand would have been used in-store and the product it originally promoted. Only the advertising display hand is included in this lot.)
