Summer Sign, Advertising, & Doll Spectacular
Manufactured by The Countryman Co., Inc. of Covington, Kentucky, this 1950s Burger Beer light-up advertising sign features three revolving slogan panels reading "Sparkle-Brewed, " "You’ll Like It Light, " and "Light Light Light." The sign promotes Burger Brewing Co. of Cincinnati and Akron, Ohio. Only the lower "Burger Beer" panel illuminates, and the revolving panels produce a slight humming noise during operation. The sign retains two mounting holes on the reverse and four mounting holes on the underside of the base. There is no switch, and the sign operates by plugging it in. The sign was tested, and the lower panel lit up during cataloging. It measures approximately 21.5" L x 5.5" W x 9.5" H.
