A vintage wooden poker chip holder containing an assortment of gambling-related items. Included are six dice, an empty deck of cards box, and a variety of vintage composite and clay poker chips in red, white, blue, orange, green, and yellow colors. Green chips are monogrammed "JR, " orange $5.00 chips are from the Saratoga Club, and the red 25-cent and yellow $1.00 chips are from Shawgo’s Club. The remaining chips are either plain or feature a horse and jockey motif. Shawgo’s Club was an illegal gambling establishment located in Goofy Ridge, Illinois. The holder features a covered compartment with a slotted lid and additional chips stored inside. It measures approximately 16" L x 8.5" W x 6.5" H.
