Summer Sign, Advertising, & Doll Spectacular
This Ward’s Vitovim Bread porcelain advertising thermometer features a multi-colored portrait of a chubby, rosy-cheeked young boy with curly blonde hair and the Ward’s Vitovim Bread logo. The lower right corner displays the slogan, "Keeps Him Smiling Because 100% Nutrition." During cataloging, the thermometer was tested and found to display the proper temperature. The sign retains two mounting holes and shows some paint wear around the upper mounting hole. It is stamped "Pat. March 16, 1915 Beach Coshocton, O." and measures approximately 8" W x 21" H.
